Seibert is expected to sign with the Saints' practice squad, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Seibert will head to New Orleans where he will serve as backup to Blake Grupe. The 27-year-old was one of one on both field-goal attempts and extra-points tries during one game played with the Jets earlier this season.
