The 49ers elevated Turner from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Turner will be elevated by the 49ers for the third time this season, which is the maximum amount of times for a player on a team's practice squad. Turner will provide support on special teams while adding depth to a 49ers wide receiver corps that is without Ricky Pearsall (knee) for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
