Celtics' Devin Carter: Practicing in G League

Carter (illness) practiced with the G League's Maine Celtics on Wednesday.

The Celtics transferred Mitchell to the G League's Maine Celtics before recalling him Wednesday.

Flemings will start Wednesday's game against the Wizards, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

The rookie floor general will get the starting nod for the first time in his young career, pushing CJ McCollum to the bench. With Jalen Johnson (ankle) sidelined, Flemings will likely see increased on-ball duties. He's averaging 7.1 points, 4.7 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 0.9 steals in 20.3 minutes per contest across seven regular-season appearances.

  • Coby White PG | CHA

Hornets' Coby White: Good to go Wednesday

White (calf) is available for Wednesday's game in Brooklyn.

White was initially listed as probable due to left calf injury management, but he'll be available for the matchup. The veteran guard should handle his usual offensive responsibilities in Charlotte's backcourt, barring any restrictions related to his calf.

  • Thunder's Jaylin Williams: Sidelined against Cavaliers

Williams (back) is listed as out for Wednesday's game versus Cleveland, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

With Jalen Williams (leg) and Chet Holmgren (knee) also sidelined, Micah Peavy, Kenrich Williams and Aday Mara should see more minutes than usual.
