Podziemski (back) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Lakers.
Podziemski will miss Wednesday's regular-season opener due to lower-back soreness, and his next chance to play will come Friday against Memphis. With the 23-year-old guard sidelined, De'Anthony Melton, Gary Payton and Will Richard are candidates for increased playing time.
