Avdija chipped in 24 points (8-16 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 8-12 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists and one block over 32 minutes during Thursday's 124-103 loss to Memphis.
The star forward is off to an excellent start this season, having produced at least 18 points, four rebounds and four assists in each of his first four appearances. Ja Morant's (hamstring) status is in limbo following Thursday's defeat, so Avdija may have to do the heavy lifting offensively if Morant needs to miss time.
