Gobert finished with eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one assist across 22 minutes in Wednesday's 128-106 preseason loss to the Pistons.
Gobert converted three of his four attempts from the field but was unusually quiet on the glass, collecting just four rebounds while failing to register a block. Minnesota struggled to contain Detroit's interior attack, though Gobert's established role as the team's defensive anchor should remain secure entering the regular season.
