Kennard (knee) has been ruled out for the Suns' final game of the preseason Friday against Utah, John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM reports.
Kennard is dealing with left knee soreness, and while he'll take a seat Friday, the team doesn't this to turn into an extended absence, per Gambadoro. He can be considered day-to-day leading up to Wednesday's opener against Portland.
