Thompson recorded 12 points (5-5 FG, 2-3 FT), four assists, three rebounds and one steal over 19 minutes during Friday's 129-125 preseason win over the Raptors.
It was the second time in four preseason games that Thompson scored in double digits. Entering his fourth year in the league, the 2023 first-rounder is more of a defensive contributor for the Pistons and isn't a threat offensively on a night-to-night basis. Detroit opens its regular season Tuesday against Boston.
