Aldama (knee) is probable to suit up for Friday's game against the Jazz.
Aldama has missed the first eight games of the season while recovering from right knee surgery in March. Getting upgraded to probable is a good sign the former Grizzlies forward will be ready to make his Mavericks debut at home against Utah. Aldama will likely begin the campaign on a minutes restriction, but his return probably means less minutes for Zaccharie Risacher and Morez Johnson Jr.
