The Mavericks assigned Aldama (knee) to the G League's Texas Legends on Tuesday, Marc Stein of The Stein Line reports.
This is all part of Aldama's return-to-play protocol. The forward is still considered week-to-week, but this is a sign that he's trending in the right direction. Look for him to be recalled shortly.
