Irving (knee) will be on a minutes restriction in Friday's game against the Pacers, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.
Irving will suit up for the front end of this back-to-back set, though he'll see limited playing time. As a result, Marcus Sasser could pick up a few extra minutes. Over 24 minutes in Wednesday's season-opening loss to Houston, Irving posted 15 points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal.
