Grimes supplied nine points (4-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt), six assists, one steal and one block across 26 minutes in Tuesday's 101-89 preseason loss to the Warriors.
Grimes stayed in the starting lineup and did more as a distributor, posting a preseason-high six assists, though his three turnovers were part of a 29-turnover night for the Lakers. He has started all four exhibitions and appears set to open the season alongside Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves.
