Thybulle will start Tuesday's preseason matchup against Sacramento, Ryan Ward of SI.com reports.
Thybulle will get an opportunity with Portland's first unit against the Kings. The defensive-minded wing will look to make an impact with his steals and perimeter defense, though his offensive contributions have historically been limited. His starting assignment Tuesday doesn't necessarily indicate that he'll hold a first-unit role when the regular season begins.
