Sochan was waived by the Trail Blazers on Saturday, NBA reporter Marc Stein reports.
Sochan will now have to explore other opportunities after failing to make the Trail Blazers' initial regular-season roster. The 2022 No. 9 overall pick appeared in 44 regular-season games between New York and San Antonio last season, averaging 3.6 points and 2.4 rebounds in 10.7 minutes per tilt.
