Young was waived by the Lakers on Wednesday, Benjamin Royer of The Orange County Register reports.
Young agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract Wednesday. While Los Angeles waived him, the move could have been made to secure his G League rights. Young has appeared in 20 regular-season games combined for the Bulls and Heat since 2024-25, averaging 1.8 points over 4.4 minutes per contest.
