Fontecchio is not listed in the starting lineup for Wednesday's preseason game against Brooklyn.
Fontecchio came off the bench in the first two preseason contests but got the start in Saturday's loss to Minnesota. In three preseason games in 2026, the 30-year-old has averaged 8.0 points and 2.0 rebounds over 16.4 minutes per contest. His final opportunity to play before the start of the 2026-27 campaign will come Friday in Orlando.
