Wagler is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Kings, Farbod Esnaashari of SI.com reports.
Wagler will come off the bench to begin his NBA career, but he should still see quality minutes with Max Strus (foot) and Bradley Beal (knee) out. The Clippers selected him with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, so he should be a big part of their plans this season.
