Carter (illness) agreed to a two-way deal with the Celtics on Saturday, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.com reports.
Carter was the No. 13 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. Since then, he appeared in 74 regular-season games with the Kings, including 12 starts, averaging 6.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists over 14.8 minutes per contest. Carter might have some untapped potential left, though he has a way to go before earning a meaningful role with the Celtics.
