Embiid has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Detroit due to right plantar fasciitis management.
Embiid will be held out of the second leg of this back-to-back set after posting a 28-point triple-double in Saturday's win over Milwaukee. Adem Bona will likely see a significant bump in minutes in Embiid's stead.
