Sanchez elected free agency Tuesday.
Sanchez will test his luck on the open market this winter and is unlikely to garner anything more than a minor-league contract from the Mets or another organization. The 30-year-old utility infielder's lone big-league action in 2022 came with the Red Sox, with whom he posted a .322 OPS over 44 plate appearances.
