Caratini (knee) is in the lineup for Friday's series opener against the Athletics.
After being removed early from Wednesday's matchup against Cleveland with a right knee contusion, Caratini is back in the starting lineup Friday. The 32-year-old will start at first base and bat sixth for Minnesota.
