The Tigers reassigned Castro to minor-league camp Monday, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
Castro had been attending spring training as a non-roster invitee after linking up with the Tigers on a minor-league pact in December. The 24-year-old righty has made 20 career relief appearances in the majors between stints with the Giants and Cubs, logging a cumulative 4.91 ERA and 1.52 WHIP over 25.2 innings.
