Peguero signed a minor-league contract with the Tigers on Jan. 22.
Peguero, 27, split the 2023 season between Double-A Harrisburg and Triple-A Rochester in the Nationals organization, holding a 4.62 ERA and 40:27 K:BB across 50.2 frames. He has yet to appear in a major-league contest.
