Bowlan was returned to Triple-A Omaha on Saturday.
Bowlan was summoned to the big club as the 27th man for Saturday's doubleheader against Cleveland, but his time with the team will be short. The right-hander got into Game 2 of the twin bill, allowing two runs on five hits with two strikeouts over 2.1 innings.
