The Royals signed Dalbec to a minor-league contract Friday.
Dalbec opted out of his minor-league pact with the Brewers last weekend after slashing .266/.356/.498 with 12 home runs, 44 RBI, 36 runs scored, three stolen bases and a 30:89 BB:K across 264 plate appearances at Triple-A Nashville. Dalbec joins his third organization of the season after he also spent time with the White Sox earlier in the year.
