The Reds did not tender Munoz a contract for 2026 on Friday, making him a free agent.
The right-hander was claimed off waivers by the Reds in early November, but the organization won't retain him through Friday's non-tender deadline. Munoz pitched in eight games for the Cardinals last year and had an 8.18 ERA and 14:9 K:BB over 11 innings.
