The Rockies outrighted Curtiss to Triple-A Albuquerque on Aug. 9.
Curtiss would have had the option of electing free agency after he cleared waivers, but he instead chose to stick around in the Colorado organization as relief depth at the Triple-A level. He's made two appearances for Albuquerque since clearing waivers, covering one inning while giving up one earned run on three hits.
