The Rockies recalled Norby from Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday.
The move corresponds with the Rockies placing Tyler Freeman (back) on the 10-day injured list. Norby appeared in 65 games for the Marlins and slashed .203/.313/.325 with six steals, four homers and 16 RBI over 233 plate appearances before being traded to the Rockies on Monday, Aug. 3. Norby gives Colorado some additional depth at both first and third base.
