Blackmon (head) is batting leadoff as the designated hitter Tuesday against the Mets.
The 38-year-old sat out Saturday and Sunday after being hit in the head by a throw during Friday's contest, but he'll return to action for Tuesday's series opener versus New York. Blackmon has a .225/.340/.300 slash line with a 7:12 BB:K in 11 games since the All-Star break.
