Anthony went 1-for-1 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-4 loss to the Astros.
After starting the game on the bench, Anthony came on as a pinch hitter in the top of the ninth and launched an opposite-field homer off a Bryan Abreu two-strike slider, his first long ball this season. While Boston's comeback bid would fall short, Anthony's homer is certainly a positive sign -- the outfielder had gone 0-for-12 with eight strikeouts in his previous three contests.
