Sullivan signed a minor-league contract with the Pirates on Friday and has been assigned to Triple-A Indianapolis, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.
Sullivan was DFA'd by the Pirates on Monday and eventually outrighted to Indianapolis. While he'll remain at Triple-A, Sullivan has been re-added to the 40-man roster.
