Canario went 2-for-4 with a strikeout Saturday against the Rockies.
Canario has primarily been filling a small-side platoon role in Pittsburgh's outfield with Oneil Cruz (concussion) sidelined. He homered as a pinch hitter Friday and followed that up with his first multi-hit performance since June 27. Cruz began a rehab assignment Saturday, so Canario's already limited playing time will likely further diminish in the next several days.
