Salas will have his contract selected from Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Salas made the jump to Triple-A at the end of July, and he's shown no sign of slowing down. He's hitting .326 with three home runs, 24 RBI, three stolen bases and 13 runs over 24 matchups with the Chihuahuas and is now closing in on his MLB debut. The 20-year-old's promotion will become official Tuesday when rosters expand.
