The Orioles shut down Basallo (shoulder) for a few days to let his right shoulder "calm down," Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.
After being sent to the 10-day injured list Wednesday, Baltimore has shut down Basallo for the time being. It seems that the 21-year-old will most likely not be ready to return to action when he is first eligible for activation July 31.
