The Dodgers released Garcia on Friday.
Garcia was removed from the 40-man roster in late June and is now out of the organization altogether after clearing waivers. The 38-year-old reliever holds a 5.27 ERA, 1.83 WHIP and 24:16 K:BB over 27.1 innings in the majors this season.
