Miranda cleared waivers Thursday and elected free agency, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.
After posting a .763 OPS in the big leagues in 2024, Miranda's performance declined considerably in 2025, as he slashed just .195/.272/.296 across 371 plate appearances at Triple-A St. Paul. His previous success could net him a fair amount of attention in free agency, though his options will likely be limited to minor-league contracts.
