Freeman (undisclosed) exited Sunday's game against the Padres in the sixth inning, Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.com reports.
Freeman was able to return to the lineup Saturday after missing the final three games of the regular season with a right ankle injury. It's unclear if that is why he left Sunday's matchup early, but his night came to a close after he went 0-for-2 with a strikeout at the plate. Enrique Hernandez entered the lineup at third base, batting fourth, while Max Muncy shifted over to first base.
