Peralta was designated for assignment by the Brewers on Monday.
Peralta will loose out on his 40-man roster spot after the Brewers made a trade to acquire outfielder Luis Matos from the Giants earlier in the day. Peralta opened the 2026 season at Triple-A Nashville and figures to remain a candidate for a promotion later in the year if he goes unclaimed on waivers.
