The Brewers signed Alfaro to a minor-league contract Tuesday that includes an invitation to spring training, Mike Rodriguez reports.

Alfaro didn't play anywhere this past season after being released by the Cubs during spring training. The 31-year-old is a career .253/.302/.393 hitter over parts of eight big-league seasons. He will likely be assigned to Triple-A Nashville to begin the 2025 campaign.
