Atlanta activated Murphy (finger) from the 60-day injured list Monday.
Murphy is back from a fractured left middle finger that had kept him shelved since mid-May. He's been limited to only four games this season due to injury but has been cleared to return after slashing .381/.417/.429 in six rehab contests. Murphy will be the No. 2 catcher in Atlanta behind Drake Baldwin and should see some starts in the designated hitter spot.
