Springs (hip) is gearing up to make his next start following a clean MRI, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
Springs departed Sunday's outing early as a result of right hip discomfort. However, further imaging showed that he was able to avoid a significant injury, and he's now on track to make his next start, which tentatively lines up for Friday against Detroit.
