Rooker (personal) is expected to return from the paternity list Saturday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
He'll miss a second straight game Thursday against the Mets following the birth of his new child but Rooker looks like he'll be ready to go coming out of the Athletics' off day Friday for the start of a two-game set versus the Giants. Rooker had put up three straight multi-hit games before going on the paternity list and has a .910 OPS over 38 at-bats in August.
