Wisconsin vs. Georgia Southern updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Wisconsin vs. Georgia Southern football game
The Wisconsin Badgers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Georgia Southern Eagles at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium.
The point spread favored Wisconsin on Saturday, but luck did not. They fell 31-22 to Washington State.
K Nathanial Vakos sure can't be blamed for the loss, as he made all three of his field goal attempts. WR Skyler Bell also helped out by posting a receiving touchdown.
Meanwhile, even though UAB scored an imposing 35 points, Georgia Southern still came out on top. Georgia Southern enjoyed a cozy 49-35 win over UAB on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Georgia Southern.
Georgia Southern's success was spearheaded by the efforts of OJ Arnold, who finished with 79 total yards and two touchdowns , and Davis Brin, who finished with 18 total yards and three touchdowns. It was a true group effort though, as the team also got help from Jalen White, who rushed for 40 yards and punched in a rushing score plus a receiving touchdown.
Looking ahead, Wisconsin is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 19 points. They finished last season with a 5-7 record against the spread.
While the Badgers are hoping for a better result this time, the Eagles are hoping to keep the momentum going. Check CBS Sports after the game to see if Wisconsin can succeed or if Georgia Southern can keep it going.
