Only two more quarters stand between UTSA and the win they were favored to collect coming into this afternoon. They have a bit of a cushion as they currently lead Kennesaw State 21-6.
If UTSA keeps playing like this they'll be starting off their season with a 'W'. On the other hand, Kennesaw State will be starting their season off on the wrong foot unless they turn things around (and fast).

Saturday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. Kennesaw State was unstoppable on the ground last season, having averaged 195.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like UTSA struggles in that department as they averaged 174.8.
Looking back to last season, Kennesaw State finished on the wrong side of .500 (3-6), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year. On the other hand, UTSA had a phenomenal run, finishing with a superb 8-4 record.
Kennesaw State is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
The disadvantage in the odds might be especially worrying for Kennesaw State considering the team didn't win a single game as the underdog last year. UTSA will open their season as the favorite, and the team was 8-2 as such last season.
