Utah vs. UCLA: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Utah vs. UCLA football game
The Utah Utes will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the UCLA Bruins at 3:30 p.m. ET at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Utah made easy work of Weber State and carried off a 31-7 victory.
QB Nate Johnson looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 193 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 71 yards and a touchdown. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in at least one in the last three games he's played. Utah also got help from TE Munir McClain who showed off his sure hands for 92 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for UCLA at home against NC Central on Saturday as the team secured a 59-7 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-0.
Nobody from UCLA had a standout game, but they still got scores from RB Anthony Adkins, RB Carson Steele, and WR J.Michael Sturdivant.
Looking ahead, Utah are the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 4.5 points. This contest will be their third straight as the favorites (a stretch that saw them go 1-2 against the spread).
Utah came up short against UCLA in their previous matchup last October, falling 42-32. Will Utah have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the contest or check back on CBS Sports to find out.
