UNLV vs. Wyoming: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Friday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the UNLV vs. Wyoming football game
The Wyoming Cowboys will head out on the road to face off against the UNLV Rebels at 10:45 p.m. ET on Friday at Allegiant Stadium. Wyoming is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Wyoming beat Colorado State 24-15. The win was just what Wyoming needed coming off of a 32-7 defeat in their prior game.
Wyoming relied on the efforts of Harrison Waylee, who rushed for 128 yards, and Andrew Peasley, who threw for 140 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, UNLV can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. They put a hurting on New Mexico on the road to the tune of 56-14. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as UNLV just coasted through the last quarter.
UNLV's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayden Maiava led the charge by throwing for 247 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes. Ricky White did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 165 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Their wins bumped Wyoming to 6-3 and UNLV to 7-2.
Not only did both teams in this Friday's contest win their last matches, they also took care of their bettors and covered the spread. Looking forward, UNLV is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by 4.5 points. For those looking to play the spread, keep UNLV in mind: they have a solid 8-1 record against the spread this season.
