UNLV vs. Boise State Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the UNLV vs. Boise State football game
UNLV will be in front of their home fans on Saturday, but a look at the spread shows they might need that home-field advantage. They will take on the Boise State Broncos at 3:00 p.m. ET on Saturday.
After a string of three wins, UNLV's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 37-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of San Jose State. UNLV has not had much luck with San Jose State recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
UNLV's defeat came about despite a quality game from Jai'Den Thomas, who rushed for 48 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Maiava, who threw for 229 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Boise State has more to be thankful for after their matchup against Air Force on Friday. Boise State walked away with a 27-19 win over Air Force. The win was nothing new for Boise State as they're now sitting on three straight.
Ashton Jeanty continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 118 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 107 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. Jeanty's longest reception was for an incredible 75 yards. Taylen Green also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Their wins bumped UNLV to 9-3 and San Jose State to 7-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's contest: The Rebels have been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 189 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like the Broncos struggle in that department as they've been even better at 207.5 per game. It's looking like Saturday's match might have some serious battles in the trenches.
