UL Monroe vs. Army updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Louisiana-Monroe vs. Army West Point football game
The Army Black Knights will hit the road to start their 2023 campaign against the UL Monroe Warhawks. Kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. ET on September 2nd at JPS Field at James L. Malone Stadium.
Army were ranked 16th in the nation in penalties last season, having averaged 4.8 per game. UL Monroe did well in that department too, as they were ranked 18th with an average of 4.9 per game.
Looking ahead to Saturday, Army is the favorite in this one, and the experts expect to see them win by nine points. They finished last season with a 7-5 record against the spread.
Army ought to be happy about their advantage in the spread: the team was a solid 5-1 when favored last season. A bettor who placed a $100 dollar bet on them to lose every one of the 12 games they played last year would have netted $493.65. Sadly, UL Monroe will open their season as the underdog, and the team was 2-8 as such last year.
