UCF vs. Tulane Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the UCF vs. Tulane football game
The Tulane Green Wave haven't won a game against the UCF Knights since Oct. 3 of 2015, but they'll be looking to end the drought on Saturday. Tulane and UCF will face off in an American Athletic battle at 4 p.m. ET at Bounce House. The Green Wave need to shore up a defense that is allowing 40.88 points per matchup.
Tulane received a tough blow last week as they fell 31-12 to the Cincinnati Bearcats. Tulane's loss came about despite a quality game from RB Tyjae Spears, who rushed for one TD and 106 yards on 19 carries.
Meanwhile, after constant struggles on the road, UCF has finally found some success away from home. They were completely in charge last week, breezing past the Temple Owls 49-7 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21 to nothing. UCF QB Mikey Keene was slinging it as he passed for five TDs and 238 yards on 23 attempts.
UCF's defense was a presence as well, as it got past Temple's offensive line to sack the QB four times for a total loss of 21 yards. It was a group effort with four guys contributing.
The Green Wave are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. Those who got lucky with them against the spread last week might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the team has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.
Tulane is now 1-7 while UCF sits at 5-3. UCF is 2-2 after wins this year, and Tulane is 1-5 after losses.
