UAB vs. FAU: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the UAB vs. Florida Atlantic football game
The FAU Owls will head out on the road to face off against the UAB Blazers at 3:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Protective Stadium. UAB does have the home-field advantage, but FAU is expected to win by a single point.
After a disappointing ten points in their last game, FAU made sure to put some points up on the board against Charlotte on Friday. Everything went FAU's way against Charlotte as FAU made off with a 38-16 victory. The result was nothing new for FAU, who have now won three matches by 22 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead FAU to victory, but perhaps none more so than LaJohntay Wester, who picked up 149 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Daniel Richardson also deserves a shout-out for his three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, UAB's game last Saturday was all tied up 21-21 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They ended up on the wrong side of a bruising 45-21 walloping at the hands of Memphis. UAB has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losing side was boosted by Jermaine Brown Jr., who rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown.
FAU's victory lifted them to 4-4 while UAB's loss dropped them down to 2-6.
UAB is hoping to beat the odds on Saturday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss. This contest will be their sixth straight as the underdogs (so far over this stretch they are 3-2 against the spread).
FAU beat UAB 24-17 in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for FAU since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
